Our smart, economical call point is being improved and will be available early 2020. This emergency call point is optimised for safety and usability, and is ideal for wet areas in hospitals, nursing homes, mental health facilities or wherever there is a risk of falls.
Here are the main changes to our 2558 Wireless Call Button with Pull Cord:
- An integrated reset button. The new 2558 no longer requires a separate reset button to cancel an alarm. With fewer hardware requirements, it's now even easier and more economical to install these wireless call buttons.
An accessible battery compartment means replacing batteries is as simple as turning the unit over and using a coin to unscrew the battery compartments. 2 x CR2477 (3V Lithium) cells are supplied. The compartments are sealed to protect against moisture ingress to maintain wet area certification.- IP65 - so you can still install it in the shower, but best not to take it swimming! IP65 is ample protection for wet area usage.
